Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Scheduling Coordinator to join our dental practice. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling and ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk. Your primary focus will be on coordinating patient appointments, assisting with administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service to create a welcoming environment for all visitors. Duties Manage and coordinate patient appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization of the practice's resources. Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide information about available services and appointment availability. Confirm upcoming appointments with patients and handle rescheduling or cancellations as needed. Greet patients upon arrival, check them in, and update their records accurately in the system. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure patient flow is seamless and appointments run on time. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with privacy regulations. Support billing and insurance processing when necessary, including verifying coverage and processing payments. Stay informed about practice policies and procedures to provide accurate information to patients. Experience Prior experience in a dental or medical front desk role is preferred but not required; strong customer service skills are essential. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members. Proficiency in using scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR), or similar systems is advantageous. Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality at all times. A friendly demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional patient service and support. Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 per week
