Medical Receptionist Job Description:
We are looking to hire a Medical Receptionist with excellent organizational and administrative skills. Medical Receptionist is expected to be compassionate and discrete with superb time management and record-keeping skills. A Medical Receptionist is responsible for interacting with patients and patient's family in an outpatient clinic setting and managing administrative tasks for the medical team. To ensure success, Medical Receptionist should be confident and professional administrator with good communication and interpersonal skills that will contribute to the efficient day-to-day administration of the clinic. Medical Receptionist will work comfortably under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and can effectively react to patient needs. Medical Receptionist will have organization and time management skill to manage a variety of tasks effectively.
Medical Receptionist Responsibilities:
Greet and attend to patients in person and over the phone. Schedule patient appointments according to clinic availability. Explain intake forms to new patients. Process payments before or after treatment. Professionally assist providers, staff, visitors, and patients. Maintain clinic inventory such as checking supplies. Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner. Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations. Maintain confidentiality of all providers, staff and patient information. Be sufficient in technological/computer skills, such as using word processing and spreadsheet programs to track data as well as Excel data sheets
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
