Dental Receptionist Schuyler Dental - Rushville, IL Job Overview Schuyler Dental is seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Dental Receptionist to join our growing team. As the first point of contact, you will greet patients, schedule appointments, and keep our front office running smoothly. Dental or medical office experience is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate with a great attitude and willingness to learn. Duties Greet patients warmly and check them in/out. Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments. Answer phone calls and respond to patient questions. Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing/collections. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA. Support the dental team to ensure smooth office operations. Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry. Keep the reception area clean, professional, and welcoming. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in dental/medical office is preferred but not required. Comfortable with computers; dental software experience is a plus (Open Dental, Dentrix, etc.). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented. Ability to multitask in a busy office environment. Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
