Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional patient service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the medical office. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various medical software systems. Duties Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar efficiently. Handle incoming calls using multi-line phone systems, addressing inquiries and directing calls appropriately. Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance verification processes. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Process patient intake forms and documentation review for completeness. Assist with medical billing, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and collections as needed. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) system patient management. Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and maintaining office organization. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and ensure quality patient service. Qualifications Strong computer skills; typing proficiency is essential. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to enhance patient interactions. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse patient population.
