JOB SUMMARY AND SPECIFICATIONS JOB SUMMARY

The Unit Secretary/Clinical Support person provides integrated clerical and clinical support to ensure efficient, patient-centered operations in the Diagnostics department. This role manages patient and provider calls, coordinates check-in workflow, prepares and distributes charts for respiratory therapists, supports EMR document management (scanning and uploading tests), assists with room turnover and stocking, and performs non-licensed patient care tasks within scope, supporting high-quality diagnostic testing and a positive patient experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Professional & Technical Skills Education High School graduate or equivalent. Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred. License(s) or Certification(s) BLS (Basic Life Support) required within 90 days of hire. Other Skills or Requirements Excellent telephone and oral communication skills required. Must poses customer service/hospitality skills. Computer skills preferred.
