Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized front desk receptionist to join our busy family medicine practice. The front desk team is often the first point of contact for our patients, and this position plays an important role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and positive experience. The ideal candidate will arrive on time and be prepared to work at the scheduled start time, maintain reliable attendance, work collaboratively with all members of the practice team and provide consistent, respectful, and patient-centered service. Duties Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner. Check patients in and help ensure that registration information is accurate and complete. Collect money. Monitor the waiting room and parking lot to remain aware of patient needs and overall activity. Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative team members. Answer and direct telephone calls as needed. Scan documents and maintain organized electronic records. Keep the coffee bar and other patient-facing areas clean, organized, and well stocked. Follow office procedures related to patient privacy and confidentiality. Perform other administrative and front-desk duties as assigned. Skills Knowledge of medical office procedures and insurance. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks or similar platforms. Previous experience in a medical office. Excellent customer service. Schedule Monday
- Friday from 7:15 AM
- 1:15 PM with eventual Saturday rotation 8:45 AM
- 11:00 AM every 6-7 weeks.
Pay:
$14.00- $18.
