Scheduling Coordinator/Front Office Sunnybrook Dental is looking for an experienced, friendly, and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our front office team. We're a growing private practice that believes exceptional patient care starts the moment someone contacts our office. About the Role As our Scheduling Coordinator, you'll be an essential part of creating an exceptional patient experience while helping our providers stay productive and on schedule. This role combines patient scheduling, benefit coordination, and outstanding customer service to ensure every patient feels welcomed and cared for. Key Responsibilities Coordinate appointments for both hygiene and doctor schedules to maximize efficiency and production Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression Communicate with patients through phone calls, text messages, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications Verify dental benefits as needed to support patient care and scheduling Present treatment plans clearly and confidently and collect payments when appropriate Follow up on unscheduled treatment, overdue hygiene appointments, and patient reactivation opportunities Work collaboratively with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and fellow business team members to ensure smooth daily operations and an exceptional patient experience What We're Looking For Previous dental office experience (required) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications Experience verifying and explaining dental insurance benefits Experience with Dentrix Ascend practice management software Our Ideal Candidate Professional, polished, and dependable Friendly, warm, and welcoming with patients Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail Strong multitasker who can effectively prioritize competing responsibilities Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-first mindset Excellent communicator who enjoys building relationships with patients and coworkers Proactive problem solver who takes initiative and is willing to jump in wherever needed Values accountability, flexibility, and working together to achieve shared goals What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Bonus opportunities Paid time off 401(k) with employer match and profit sharing Ongoing training and opportunities for growth Supportive team culture where everyone works together to succeed If you're looking for a practice that values teamwork, professionalism, and delivering an exceptional patient experience, we'd love to hear from you.
