Job Description

Seeking an experienced Dental Front Office Administrator to manage front desk operations, scheduling, and insurance coordination in a modern, single-doctor, fee-for-service practice utilizing Open Dental and Dental Intelligence. True Fee-for-Service Culture:

Unhurried appointments, patient-first treatment planning, and zero corporate sales quotas.

Predictable Schedule:

Half-day Fridays (8 AM

•12 PM) and early 3:00 PM finishes on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Modern Tech & Growth:

Fully digital practice investing in top-tier technology and continuous team training.

Weekly Schedule Mon & Wed:

7:30 AM

•5:00

PM Tue & Thu:

6:30 AM

•3:00 PM (Early finish)

Fri:

8:00 AM

•12:00 PM (Half-day)

Weekends:
None Primary Responsibilities Patient Operations:

Warmly greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, and handle multi-line phone communications.

Scheduling:

Maintain productive, balanced schedules for doctor and hygiene columns; manage recare lists.

Billing & Insurance:

Obtain detailed insurance breakdowns, verify patient eligibility, collect copays at time of service, and send statements.

Treatment Coordination:

Present treatment plans and financial estimates with clarity and confidence.

Chart Auditing:

Utilize Dental Intel and Open Dental to audit patient accounts and follow up on unscheduled care.

Qualifications Experience:

Dental office experience (Required) .

Software:

Working proficiency with Open Dental and Dental Intelligence (Preferred) .

Knowledge:

Solid understanding of dental terminology, CDT procedure codes, and insurance workflows.

Strengths:

Strong communication skills, professional phone etiquette, and reliable organization.

Bonus:

Dental Radiography certification or clinical sterilization cross-training (preferred, but definitely not-required).
