The ideal candidate would have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a fast paced team centered environment. Our mission is to deliver efficient, compassionate, and high quality care to all of our patients. We are an independently owned internal medicine practice with 11 providers. We currently have (8) full-time physicians and (3) full-time nurse practitioners.
Medical Office Receptionist Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients in an efficient and professional manner. Ensure all patient paperwork is complete and demographic information is correct. Management of a multi-line phone system. Assist patients with questions or direct patients to the appropriate staff member for assistance. Processing of electronic faxes Insurance verification Collection of co-payments, deductibles and payments on account balances Check-Out patients Scheduling of new and established patient appointments, scheduling in-office imaging, and nurse visits
Job Requirements:
Ability to multitask in a fast pace environment. Ability to prioritize tasks based on level of importance Excellent customer service and problem solving skills Ability to adapt to changing workflows and daily work volumes Familiar with: insurance verification, eligibility and benefits, and payment collection Previous medical office experience required Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience required
