Medical Receptionist

Join our expanding specialty practice with locations in Mandeville, Covington, Hammond, and Slidell, LA, as a Full-Time Medical Receptionist. We're currently seeking individuals to join our team, who are dedicated team players committed to facilitating exceptional medical care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Warmly greeting patients upon arrival at the office. Assisting patients in using kiosks to check in for appointments. Supporting patients in accessing the patient portal. Managing incoming phone inquiries. Maintaining accurate patient records. Inputting detailed demographic and insurance information with precision. Collaborating closely with providers and medical assistants to ensure efficient front desk operations. Proficiency in multitasking, strong organizational and communication skills, and a solid grasp of medical terminology and insurance procedures are crucial for success in this role. Scheduling appointments across multiple locations. Verifying insurance coverage. Handling payments for copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.
