We are seeking a motivated and driven team member who is interested not only in excelling as a Dental Receptionist, but also in growing into leadership and management responsibilities as the practice expands. About Us At Braintree Kids Dental, we are dedicated to creating positive dental experiences for children and their families. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Receptionist to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment while helping our office run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Greet patients and families with a warm, professional attitude Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using Open Dental software Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary patient information prior to appointments Collect payments and assist with billing and insurance-related questions Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic dental record system Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes Coordinate communication between patients, families, and clinical staff Manage office correspondence, filing, and administrative tasks Ensure compliance with HIPAA and office policies Help maintain a positive, organized, and child-friendly front office environment Qualifications Previous dental or medical front office experience preferred Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software preferred Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing procedures preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and electronic records systems Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Paid time off Paid holidays Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Clear pathway for advancement into leadership and management roles A fun, family-oriented pediatric dental office culture
