Medical Receptionist

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Must own your own vehicle and be willing to travel between Dartmouth and Taunton locations. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out Schedule appointments accurately using EMR system Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and Medicaid, ensuring proper authorization and documentation review Collect and process payments for deductibles and copays Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently and taking detailed messages when necessary Maintain accurate medical records by filing, updating, and retrieving patient information in electronic health record (EHR) system Obtaining prior authorizations Booking surgeries at multiple facilities Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing medical records and care plans Join our team as a Medical Receptionist if you're passionate about delivering outstanding patient service while supporting efficient healthcare operations.
