Job Description

Seeking a Medical Secretary to work in our busy 2MD, 3NP, 1PA Internal Medicine office. 1-2 years experience working in a medical office necessary. Excellent customer service and phone skills necessary. Must be able to multitask. EPIC experience a plus.
Schedule :

Answering and handling telephone calls from providers, patients, etc., including triaging calls appropriately Checking patients in and out for their appointments Scheduling appointments including making referral and ancillary appointments Supporting physicians in their day-to-day work schedule Processing requests for referrals and prescription refills Handling tasks such as collecting payments, registering patients in the electronic medical records system, copying and mailing medical records, confirming insurance eligibility, providing patient reminders, addressing no-show patients, among others Keep track of office and medical supplies Coordinating care with other offices as needed Assisting in medical tasks such as rooming patients, taking vitals, and performing EKGs if needed Answering patients' questions regarding billing, insurance issues, etc. Working as a team with other members of office to provide high quality patient care Performing other duties as assigned by the
Office Manager Health Insurance:
90% of premium paid by CRMA for fulltime staff, prorated for part-time. 11 paid holidays/yr. 17 vacation/sick days/yr in addition. Prorated for part-time. Dental, Vision, and Life available 401k 4% contribution by
