As a Medical Secretary, you will be essential in providing administrative support within a healthcare setting. The right candidate will be responsible and accountable for supporting the administrative flow of the medical practice, patient relations and supporting the professional staff in the comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care. Act as patient/client liaison to Physicians, Medical Assistants and Directors/Practice Managers in ensuring accomplishment of all practice objectives. This position is available to all interested applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent. We place significant emphasis on low-ego, highly collaborative, individuals who are highly receptive to feedback. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Scheduling appointments, answering phones and communicating with patients. Entering and managing data into the computer. Establishes and maintains accurate patient medical records and information. Assist with practice insurance billing and collecting payments. Communicating with medical providers. Using a computer to compose correspondence. Maintaining general appearance and cleanliness of common areas of office. Ensuring the practice inventory for administrative and nutritional supplies is maintained and stocked The schedule will be Monday through Friday and there is an opportunity for a bonus at year-end.
