Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring a smooth flow of patient interactions, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. This role requires excellent communication and proficiency in administrative tasks. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes. Manage phone calls with professionalism, providing information and answering inquiries regarding appointments and services. Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for providers. Ensure patient records are accurately filed and updated in the electronic health record system. Handle medical collections and process payments as required. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications/Skills Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential. Proficient in office administration tasks, including filing and record keeping. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
