Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Drs. DeMarco, Tilkin, and Powers Orthodontics. The ideal candidate will have a background in an orthodontic (or dental) office and strong communication / customer service skills. You will act as the first point of contact for patients and will be expected to maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to our team and our office's goal of providing the highest-quality orthodontic care to our community. Duties Greet patients promptly and courteously as they enter the office. Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and routing calls appropriately. Manage patient scheduling using our patient management software (Ortho2 Edge). Help our Financial coordinator to verify insurance coverage. Handle patient intake processes, including collecting medical histories, updating records, and communicating with other dental offices. Process patient payments and post them to their account. Assist in the digitization of patient records. Experience Prior experience in an orthodontic or dental clinic setting is highly preferred. Candidates bilingual in Spanish preferred. Competence in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to manage front desk operations efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies to safeguard patient information at all times.
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
