As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, we encourage you to apply. Responsibilities Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion. Complete patient check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Phreesia. Answer incoming telephone calls, address patient inquiries, and direct calls appropriately. Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Verify insurance eligibility and enter insurance information correctly. Obtain prior authorizations for diagnostic testing and medical procedures. Collect copayments, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances. Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, scanning, and correspondence. Maintain an organized and efficient front office while supporting providers and clinical staff. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist or front desk coordinator in a healthcare setting. At least 2 years of experience with insurance verification. At least 2 years of experience scheduling patient appointments. Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and standard Microsoft Office applications. Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced medical office. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality. Preferred Certification in medical administration or a related field. Experience in family medicine or pediatrics. Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-10 coding. Experience obtaining insurance prior authorizations.
