Responsibilities What You'll Do As a Receptionist, you'll help ensure every patient receives outstanding service by: Welcoming every patient with warmth, professionalism, and a smile Creating a positive first impression for patients, families, and visitors Registering patients and accurately updating demographic and insurance information Utilizing the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to support efficient patient flow Scheduling appointments across multiple providers and office locations Verifying insurance eligibility and assisting with registration requirements Collecting co-pays and deductibles according to billing policies Answering incoming phone calls and managing online appointment requests Coordinating referrals and scheduling follow-up appointments Collaborating with physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, sonographers, and the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience Qualifications What You'll Bring Previous customer service experience required One year of medical office experience preferred Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment A genuine passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered service Why Join Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates?
