Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in patient service, office management, and medical administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations at our dental clinic. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with dental and medical office systems, and a strong understanding of healthcare documentation and billing procedures. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, manage patient intake, and verify insurance information efficiently. Schedule appointments using dental practice management software such as open dental, ensuring optimal clinic flow. Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing exceptional customer service and addressing patient inquiries promptly. Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and perform medical collection activities in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate medical records, review documentation for completeness, and update patient information regularly. Assist with billing procedures including medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), Medicare claims, and medical billing processes. Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and maintaining organized office files.
Pay:
$17.00 - $23.00 per hour
