Job Description
We're looking for one positive, friendly and organized individual to join our team! Norlite is currently seeking a •Unit Clerk•. The Unit Clerk serves as the main liaison within the facility. The Unit Clerk is responsible for managing and performing the operations of the Nurses' Station , assuring those operations are carried out accurately, efficiently, and ensuring resident confidentiality is maintained. Shifts are 8 hours in length. There is an every-other-weekend requirement. Operations include answering phone calls, assisting with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers. Computer experience is important, as the Unit Clerk is responsible for scanning, entering and labeling accurately all health documents into the Electronic Medical Record. A friendly, positive attitude is a must . Customer service is continuous, as the Unit Clerk greets all visitors in person and on the telephone throughout the shift.
