Summary As a Dental Receptionist at University Dental Associates, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. This role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver outstanding dental care while managing administrative tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations effectively. Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar using open dental. Verify insurance information and handle dental collections with accuracy. Assist patients with inquiries regarding their treatment plans and billing. Maintain patient records in compliance with privacy regulations. Coordinate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and office management duties. Qualifications Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role, preferably in a dental setting. Familiarity with open dental or similar practice management software is essential. Strong skills in dental scheduling and insurance verification processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient service. Organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks efficiently. Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is an advantage.
