This is a very fast-paced environment, and the ability to multitask and stay organized throughout the day is absolutely essential. This position is for 1 of 2 receptionists in our office. You will work closely with another receptionist while managing a high volume of phone calls, texts, emails, faxes, scheduling, and patient communication daily. Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming phone calls Respond to patient texts and emails professionally and promptly Send, receive, and organize faxes Schedule and confirm patient appointments Verify patient information and maintain accurate records Communicate effectively with providers, medical assistants, and patients Maintain professionalism and organization in a high-volume environment Multitask efficiently while handling interruptions and changing priorities throughout the day Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times Qualifications Previous medical office or receptionist experience preferred Strong phone etiquette and communication skills Familiarity with EMR systems preferred Must be highly organized and able to multitask effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without becoming overwhelmed Must know when to ask for help and communicate well with coworkers Ability to remain professional and not allow minor frustrations or day-to-day stressors to interfere with teamwork or patient care Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
