In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional care and support while ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and cared for. The ideal candidate will possess or learn a solid understanding of Optometry and Medical procedures. Excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering top-tier patient service is extremely inportant in this position . Candidate must have strong computer skills. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a fast-paced Optometric medical setting dedicated to improving patient outcomes. We are willing to train an individual with computer and customer service experience. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth intake processes Record and Manage patient medical history in electronic Health records Assist with Optometric-specific ancillary testing such as auto refraction-Visual Fields-OCT-NCT-Optos Photos Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times Handle front desk duties including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and patient eligibility Skills Strong background in patient care with the ability to provide compassionate support during clinical visits Proficiency in HIPAA compliance to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Experience with intake procedures, and basic clinical assessments Familiarity with optical equipment and Optometric procedures is highly desirable Prior medical office experience with EMR systems Ability to multitask effectively at a busy front desk while maintaining attention to detail in record keeping Join us to be part of a vibrant healthcare team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through energetic service and meticulous administrative support!
