We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work the front desk. Position is full time, Monday through Friday (no weekends).
Summary:
Responsible for operating the front desk and providing prompt and responsive communication between the practice and the patients, in a professional and courteous manner. Assist callers with inquiries, complaints, or problems. Speak with patients, listen to them to gain a better understanding of their needs, and offer possible solutions. Registers patients, verifies insurance, collect co-payments. Redirect patients when needed. Assess needs based on previous chart notes and direct calls or questions to pertinent staff.
Experience:
Proficient in computer skills: (Required) Medical office experience: 1 year (Required) Medical assistant: 1 year (Preferred) Previous medical office experience required .
EPIC EHR
experience is a plus. Prefer a medical assistant certification/experience, but not required. The ideal candidate is patient-oriented and a team player with a positive attitude. Benefits offered after 90 day probationary period.
