Job Description
Job Summary Lakeridge Dental is seeking a friendly and self-motivated team member with excellent communication skills, strong team and independent work habits to serve as the Dental Insurance and Front Coordinator for our office and our patients. With an emphasis on excellent customer service this position provides a wide-range of services including online requests from patients, accurately scheduling a variety of appointment types and communicating with the dental staff when necessary. Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Simple IRA match Health Insurance Dental coverage for employee and family Continuing Education CPR Salary DOE Responsibilities and Duties Verification of insurance eligibility Responsible for determining pre-treatment benefits Insurance claim submission to several insurance companies Processing of payments and troubleshoot any issues related to these payments Ensures all insurance related duties are completed in a timely and accurate manner Handle incoming calls and proficiently and accurately enter data in the patient chart while talking with the patient Call to schedule or confirm appointments Review treatment plans with the patients Review payment terms with the patients and assist patients with Care Credit applications Maintain accounts receivable Variety of numerous other office duties. Qualifications and Skills Excellent team contributor Must be comfortable learning and using various software programs Able to use a multi-line phone system Accuracy and strong organizational skills 10-key proficient Excellent written and verbal communication skills Handle confidential information with discretion, tact and diplomacy Able to prioritize and perform tasks individually or with a team member Ability to work well under limited supervision Attention to detail Knowledge in both dental terminology and insurance processing a plus Eaglesoft experience helpful
