Your role is integral to maintaining effective communication and coordination within the healthcare team, enhancing patient care delivery and outcomes.

Position Details:

Mercy Rehab Hospital Chesterfield, MO Unit Secretary Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital St. Louis is a state-of-the-art facility designed specifically for patients requiring inpatient rehabilitation services. We offer programs that range from single therapies to comprehensive, multidisciplinary programs for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal-cord injuries, amputations, burns, orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. We provide rehabilitative care to patients and families utilizing a team approach, with an emphasis on improving individual functional ability and quality of life.

Preferred Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in medical office administration.

Experience:

Prior experience using computers and computer systems to enter data, or process information. Experience in working with the public; customer service.

Preferred Experience:

Prior clerical experience working in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Other:

Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and HIPAA regulations preferred. Why Mercy?
