Job Description
Dental Front Desk Receptionist Join Our Team! Smith Dental is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, creating a welcoming experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our dental office. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient questions regarding appointments, treatment, insurance, and billing. Schedule and confirm appointments while maximizing provider schedules. Verify and update patient information, insurance details, and records. Collect payments and process financial transactions accurately. Coordinate with clinical staff to maintain an efficient patient flow. Assist with treatment plan presentations and financial arrangements. Maintain an organized reception area and ensure a positive patient experience. Manage office supplies and support general administrative duties. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and office policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous dental front office experience preferred. Experience with Dentrix Ascend is highly preferred. Knowledge of dental insurance, treatment planning, and dental coding is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
