Front Desk Medical Receptionist | Part-Time | Fayetteville, NC 28304 BreakThrough Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk Medical Receptionist (Front Office Assistant) to support our Fayetteville clinic. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment!
Pay Rate:
$15/Hour Part Time (20 Hours/Week)
Schedule:
M-TH:
1pm-6pm; Friday 11:30am to 4:30 pm
Responsibilities:
You'll Achieve Success By:
Managing front desk operations , including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and referral coordination, while providing exceptional customer service. Verifying insurance coverage , processing authorizations, and collecting payments to support accurate billing and ensure smooth patient access to care. Maintaining accurate patient records by registering new patients, updating information in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, and preparing necessary documentation. Answering phone calls and assisting patients in a courteous and professional manner while upholding HIPAA compliance and fostering a welcoming healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required Basic office and customer service skills Previous experience in a similar role desired but not required
