We are looking for a teachable individual with good customer service skills and a great personality. Experience with insurance, practice management software, and HIPAA compliance is preferred.
Receptionist Job Description:
The Receptionist is responsible for the coordination of all treatment services provided to our patients. This position will also assist in scheduling, billing and collecting treatment charges. The coordinator will also assist in the scheduling of new patients, and maintain patient files.
Essential Functions:
  • Maintain patient files and schedules for all new and current patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records through daily intake and completion of daily reports.
  • Communicate with treatment team regarding patient progress, needs, and concerns.
  • Provide assistance to the treatment team as needed.
  • Schedule, collect, and post treatment charges.
  • Maintain accurate billing information through daily intake and completion of daily billing reports.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies regarding coverage determinations.
  • Assist in the scheduling of new patients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized facility environment for patient care.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bilingual in Spanish is helpful but not required.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
