In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and a welcoming environment for all visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care excellence while honing your expertise in medical office management and health information systems. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their insurance coverage, and schedule appointments efficiently using electronic scheduling system. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate collection of demographic and insurance information. Verify insurance benefits, perform insurance authorizations, and handle billing procedures including medical collection tasks. Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; respond promptly to patient inquiries and direct calls appropriately. Assist with medical administrative support including filing, faxing, scanning documents, and managing medical records in compliance with HIPAA confidentiality policies. Support clinical staff by preparing care plans, reviewing documentation accuracy, and ensuring all patient information is correctly entered into EMR/EHR platforms. Conduct insurance verification for Medicare and other health plans; process payments and follow up on outstanding balances related to medical billing. Utilize computer skills to navigate various EMR systems efficiently while maintaining high levels of clinical confidentiality. Chaperone for patients when asked by medical staff. Skills Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person; bilingual abilities are a plus. Exceptional organizational skills for managing patient files, appointment schedules, and documentation review tasks accurately. Proficiency in administrative tasks including typing on a keyboard. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism at all times. Meticulos attention to detail.

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour
