Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental office environment. The Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and maintaining patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently. Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar using EHR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft. Handle patient intake, including collecting necessary information and verifying insurance coverage. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with medical collections and review care plans as needed. Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism, addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly. Facilitate communication between patients and dental staff to ensure a seamless experience. Perform clerical duties such as filing, typing, and maintaining organized patient records. Utilize computer skills effectively to manage office tasks and documentation review. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar medical administrative support role is preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation management. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle patient interactions professionally. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply for enhanced patient communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and typing skills are required; 10-key typing experience is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
