Full-Time Medical Receptionist - Dermatology Must be willing to work in both our Chatham and Union office locations. Our busy, growing dermatology practice is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced medical office, enjoys providing exceptional patient service, and can multitask while maintaining professionalism. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet and check in/check out patients in a friendly and professional manner Answer and direct incoming phone calls Schedule and confirm patient appointments Verify insurance information and obtain referrals when necessary Collect copays and patient balances Maintain accurate patient demographic information Scan and upload documents into the electronic medical record (EMR) Respond to patient inquiries and assist with administrative tasks Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous medical receptionist experience preferred (dermatology experience is a plus) Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records Reliable, punctual, and a team player Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Must have reliable transportation and be willing to work in both our Chatham and Union office locations
