Job Description
Academy Dental is seeking an experienced and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of prior dental office experience and a strong commitment to providing outstanding patient service. This position serves as the first point of contact for our patients and plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Process patient payments and maintain accurate records Coordinate treatment plans and follow-up appointments Maintain patient charts and ensure data accuracy Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and clinical staff Manage daily office administrative tasks and front desk operations Qualifications Minimum 1 year of dental front office experience required Experience with dental practice management software (Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar) Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing procedures Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Professional appearance and positive attitude High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Skills Experience presenting treatment plans Strong understanding of PPO insurance plans Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off Supportive and friendly work environment Opportunities for professional growth
