We are looking for a competent dental receptionist who will make the dentist's office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You'll ensure excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities Patient Experience:
Warmly greet patients, manage the check-in and check-out process, and maintain a clean, welcoming waiting area.
Scheduling:
Book, confirm, and reschedule appointments, while actively managing the dentist's calendar to maximize productivity.
Insurance & Billing:
Verify insurance coverage, submit claims, and explain treatment estimates or collect co-payments from patients.
Communication:
Answer incoming phone calls, address patient concerns, and route messages to the appropriate dental staff.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain and update patient medical records, manage specialist referrals, and order front desk and office supplies. Essential Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; certification in medical or office administration is highly preferred. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills . Familiarity with dental terminology and practice management software Dentrix Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment. Strict adherence to patient confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
