Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and administrative support. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel valued and cared for. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency with dental and medical office systems, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient experiences. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and ensure a smooth check-in process Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software Collect payments and process insurance claims. Maintain accurate and organized medical records and documentation review to ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, answer inquiries, and direct calls appropriately Manage electronic health records and update patient information Assist with administrative tasks including data entry, typing reports, and managing office correspondence Requirements Proven experience in a dental clinic or medical office environment with front desk responsibilities. Familiarity with clinic management software like Epic or Dentrix is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in person and over the phone Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations to protect patient information Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and medical records management Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to providing exceptional dental care!
