About Us East Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, Dr. Weekon Choi's office, is a dedicated pulmonary and sleep medicine practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our patients. We are seeking a bilingual (Korean/English) Medical Receptionist to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your expertise in medical office procedures, health information management, and electronic health records (EHR) systems will be essential to providing exceptional patient service and supporting clinical staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized, patient-centered practice dedicated to delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Greet and check in/check out patients in a warm, professional manner Answer and direct phone calls; schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays/payments Maintain and update patient records in the physical and electronic health records (EHR) systems Schedule patient appointments accurately utilizing medical scheduling software and multi-line phone systems Assist Korean-speaking patients with communication, forms, and general questions Coordinate with physicians, medical assistants, and other staff to keep patient flow on schedule Handle incoming/outgoing correspondence, faxes, and referrals Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office/reception area Perform other administrative duties as assigned
