Part-Time Medical Receptionist Lotus Pediatrics is a pediatric office in Jackson, NJ . We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time medical receptionist to join us in our growing practice. We would like someone who is excited to help grow our office and loves working with kids. We are looking for someone who is available Monday 9am-7pm, Tuesday-Wednesday 9-2pm, Thursday 9am to 3p and optional Friday 9am-2pm.
Medical Receptionist Job Responsibilities:
Serve patients by greeting and helping them in person or on the phone, scheduling appointments digitally, and maintaining records and accounts. Comfort patients by answering patients' questions and maintaining the reception area. Ensure availability of treatment information by retrieving patient records. Assist with insurance papers and billing questions. Maintain patient accounts digitally by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting patient charges. Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, etc. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications:
Multi-tasking Telephone skills Scheduling Tech savvy, familiar with using an iPad Professionalism Basic office skills Spanish speaking is a plus Past experience as a receptionist in an office or in a medical field is a plus Past experience working with insurance companies is a plus
Education Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent required University/college degree is an asset Familiarity with phone systems
Physical Requirements:
