Maximum Health Physical Therapy is a growing outpatient physical therapy practice in Long Valley and Budd Lake clinics , and we are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position offers set shifts throughout the week, including a combination of daytime and evening hours. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a positive experience while helping our clinic run efficiently. We are looking for someone who is personable, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Answering and directing phone calls Greeting and assisting patients upon arrival Scheduling patient appointments Inputting patient demographics into our electronic medical records system Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits Making appointment reminder and confirmation calls Maintaining accurate patient and insurance records Managing communications and assisting with scheduling calendars Providing general administrative support to the clinical team Assisting therapists with light clinic duties as needed Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable using computers and learning electronic medical record systems Reliable, professional, and compassionate demeanor Previous experience as a medical receptionist, medical secretary, or in a healthcare administrative role is preferred, but not required . We are happy to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
