HIPAA Medical Front Desk Receptionist Competitive Salary Job Type:
Full-time Metropolitan OB/GYN is a busy OB/GYN practice located in Maplewood, NJ, and is seeking a Medical Front Desk Receptionist who is courteous, punctual, responsible, and a multitasking individual. Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including scanning, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration. Seeking courteous, punctual, responsible, multitasking individuals Must maintain the confidentiality of all physician, staff, and patient information Dependable transportation is necessary with a valid driver's license Must be computer literate Must be able to work independently or together as a team Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff members, and physicians. Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls as well as retrieves messages that are received via answering service with voicemail Explain financial requirements to patients; collect and record copays as required. Perform registration functions for new and existing patients. Schedule patient appointments. Maintain the confidentiality of all patients in accordance with HIPAA. Seeking courteous, punctual, responsible, multitasking individuals Experience in the OB/GYN field is a must Must be computer literate with a willingness to learn

Interview Requirements:
Prior medical front desk experience in Women's Health (OB/GYN) Must understand OB scheduling types and patient flow Ability to multitask under pressure without errors Strong communication and organizational skills Work 36-40 hours per week. Handle multi-line phone systems and maintain phone etiquette Computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency Apply only if you have relevant medical front desk experience.
