The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient service, manage administrative tasks efficiently, and support the smooth operation of our clinic. Experience with dental office management systems and dental billing is highly desirable. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and handle check-in/check-out procedures with professionalism. Schedule appointments using dental practice management software - Open Dental . Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification processes accurately. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and documentation review. Collect payments, process co-pays, and handle billing using dental coding systems like Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards. Handle multi-line phone systems, respond to patient inquiries, and provide excellent customer service. Assist with front desk duties such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing electronic health records Support clinic staff with administrative support tasks including documentation review, office management, and filing. Ensure smooth clinic operations by managing appointment scheduling, reminders, and patient intake processes. Qualifications Prior experience in a dental office environment is preferred; dental clinic experience is highly desirable. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Open Dental is desirable Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance verification processes. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and data entry accuracy. Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to ensure positive patient interactions. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and health information management standards is essential.
