Job Overview Dental Front Desk Receptionist (1+ Year Required) We are a friendly, growing general dental practice in Wayne, NJ, looking for a reliable, team-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. We're looking for someone with at least 1 year of dental front desk experience who enjoys providing excellent customer service and is comfortable with multitasking. Responsibilities Welcome patients and create a positive first impression. Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient communication. Verify dental insurance, handle co-pays/deductibles, and maintain accurate payment and patient records. Have basic knowledge of insurance terms such as Explanation of Benefit (EOB), predetermination, etc., along with the ability to explain them to patients. Dentrix experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate. Assist with sterilization or operatory turnover as part of a collaborative office environment when needed. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of dental front desk experience required. Knowledge of dental insurance verification, EOBs, and treatment estimates. Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player. Comfortable with sterilization or back-office assistance.
