Responsibilities:
  • Operate telephone to answer, screen and forward calls, provide information, take messages and schedule appointments.
  • Receive payment and record receipts for services.
  • Greet persons entering the establishment, determining the nature of the visit.
  • Hear and resolve complaints from customers and the public.
  • File and maintain records, including protected health information.
  • Knowledge in obtaining insurance authorizations and/or obtaining insurance benefits.
  • Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
  • Schedule appointments, and maintain and update appointment calendars.
  • Analyze data to determine answers to questions from customers or members of the public.
  • Provide information about establishment such as services provided, hours of operation, location, etc.
  • Collect, sort, distribute and prepare mail, messages and courier deliveries.
  • Manage insurance information for patients.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask required.
  • Scheduling of Physical Therapy support staff
Education/Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Tools/Technology Required:
Microsoft Office
  • Word, Excel; efficient use of office machines such as copiers and facsimile machines.
Experience in WebPT and Kareo preferred but not required. Only serious applicants need to apply. Willing to train the right applicant.
