The ideal candidate will possess a STRONG understanding of dental insurance processes, billing procedures, and excellent customer service skills. This role involves managing patient interactions at the front desk, verifying insurance coverage, processing claims, and ensuring accurate billing to optimize practice revenue. Responsibilities Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims, ensuring timely processing and reimbursement. Manage patient Billing inquiries, explain insurance benefits, co-payments, and outstanding balances clearly and professionally. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to insurance claims, payments, and patient interactions. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper coding using DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group), CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding standards for accurate claim submission. Monitor Accounts Receivable and perform collections on overdue balances through effective communication strategies. Qualifications > DENTAL office experience required > STRONG Dental Insurance and Billing Knowledge > Experience with Claims, EOBs, Denials appeals and Insurance follow up > Excellent communication and customer service skills > Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask > Computer skills and experience with dental practoce management software preferred > Professional, dependable and positive attitude Join our team to contribute your expertise in dental insurance coordination and billing while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced healthcare environment!
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.0 - 40.0 per week
