Full Job Description Description:
X-Ray Associates of New Mexico is seeking a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while assisting patients with registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment collection. Greet and register patients upon arrival.
shift hours:
M-F 8AM - 5PM
Responsibilities Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and appointment details. Collect co-pays and other patient payments. Schedule and reschedule imaging appointments. Make appointment reminder and confirmation calls. Review exam preparation instructions with patients. Answer incoming phone calls and direct callers appropriately. Obtain prior authorizations and physician orders as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Assist with report and image management. Provide support to various imaging departments as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum one year of customer service experience. Medical office experience preferred. Strong computer and data entry skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Professional, courteous, and patient-focused attitude.
