About The Life Link The Life Link is a CARF-accredited behavioral health and human services nonprofit based in Santa Fe, NM. We provide housing, mental health, peer support, outreach, and victim services to survivors of trauma, individuals experiencing housing instability, and people navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Our team is mission-driven, trauma-informed, and committed to making a real difference in the lives of the people we serve. About the Role You will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers across our behavioral health programs — including outpatient therapy, community support, and case management services. This is not a standard front desk position. You will work directly within our clinical environment, supporting therapists, CCSS staff, and case managers with scheduling, intake coordination, and electronic health record (EHR) documentation. Accuracy, confidentiality, and a calm, compassionate presence are essential. What You'll Do Greet clients and visitors and manage front desk operations in a behavioral health clinic setting Answer and route incoming calls; schedule appointments for therapists, CCSS staff, and case managers Complete and process client intake paperwork; enter intake and demographic data into the electronic health record (EHR) system Maintain accurate client records and ensure documentation meets HIPAA and program standards Administer client drug testing per program protocols Manage incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and clinical correspondence Coordinate with clinical staff on scheduling changes, cancellations, and waitlist management Perform general clerical and administrative tasks to support program operations What We're Looking For 2+ years of office or administrative experience; healthcare or behavioral health setting strongly preferred Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or practice management software Strong organizational skills and attention to detail — accuracy in data entry is critical Compassionate, professional demeanor with clients who may be in crisis or distress Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Strong phone and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office software High School Diploma or GED required; additional education or medical admin certification a plus Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
What We Offer Pay:
