Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Bilingual Spanish Medical Front Desk Receptionist and become the welcoming face of our clinic! This energetic role is perfect for someone passionate about providing exceptional patient service while managing administrative tasks with precision. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth check-ins, accurate documentation, and efficient communication between patients and healthcare providers. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in both English and Spanish, creating a friendly and professional atmosphere Manage patient check-in processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth Verify insurance coverage, explain health insurance policies, and facilitate medical billing and collections. Schedule appointments accurately using medical scheduling software, coordinate follow-up visits, and handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette Review and update medical records, ensuring proper documentation review and adherence to clinical confidentiality policies Assist with administrative support tasks including filing, data entry (10 key typing), and maintaining organized medical records Collaborate with clinical staff to support care plans and ensure seamless communication across departments Requirements Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is essential for effective patient communication Prior clinic experience or medical office experience is highly preferred Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks (ECW) Understanding of health insurance processes including Medicare and Medicaid procedures Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone manner and attention to detail in documentation Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) along with strong computer skills for efficient office management Knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies, HIPAA compliance, and health information management standards Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in all administrative functions We are dedicated to supporting your growth through comprehensive training on medical office procedures, and EMR/EHR management.
