Job Description
DESCRIPTION
Medical office looking for an individual who can schedule appointments, collect co-payments, and respond to patient calls , knowledge of insurance & the ability to verify insurance and benefits a plus. Medical office experience preferred but not required. Bilingual preferred but not required. We have 3 locations in Las Vegas. Must be willing to travel to all locations as needed.PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet patients at front desk as they sign in.
- Answer main office phone line. Direct telephone calls to appropriate section for assistance. Take messages as required.
- Arrange and schedule medical appointments and determine patient eligibility for services. Relay general instructions to patients, or makes referrals to other sections.
- Obtain, update, and file medical records as needed.
- Organize and research patient records, extract needed information, and review records for completeness, accuracy, and consistency within established guidelines.
- Obtain documentation as requested by healthcare providers (test results, or documentation not yet filed in records).
- Perform other administrative and clerical duties in support of the medical care and operational support.
- Conduct end-of-day process at close of business and resolve any delinquent or pending appointments in computer system
