Medical Front Desk Medical Secretary/Office Administration
WILLING TO TRAIN THOSE WITHOUT EXPERIENCE WHO ARE WILLING TO STUDY MATERIAL PROVIDED TO THEM
Starting hourly rate is based on physical therapy or medical experience and knowledge Our ideal experienced candidate will have a working knowledge in medical insurance, EMR software, computers, phone and patient interactions. Physical Therapy office experience a plus but not required. Candidate should be a self-starter, highly motivated, detail oriented, team player, reliable, meticulous, resourceful and have effective time management. Ideal Applicant should have OPEN AVAILABILITY, with basic knowledge of Medicaid HMOs, commercial insurances, NY Workers Compensation, Medicare, following up with insurance. -Resolve all patient issues as they arise. - Job Details  Greeting and checking in and processing patients  Some knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records), word processing, spreadsheet.  Scheduling appointments, calling insurance companies to verify eligibility, and obtaining authorizations  Review insurance information to determine benefit coverage.  Take calls from clients to provide customer service and obtain information on claims.  Have a professional, articulate, manner with the ability to deal with patients handling inquires,  Ability to perform a variety of duties, multitask and change from one task to a task of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.  Provide frequent, specific, accurate and timely feedback to management and physical therapist Prior experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate if necessary.
