Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, organized, compassionate front desk receptionist who is able to multitask and flourish in a fast-paced environment. Your primary job duties will include greeting and checking in patients, updating demographics and insurance information, answer patient questions, collect co-pays, process paperwork, schedule follow up appointments, and remain upbeat with a positive attitude. Medical Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities Immediately greet patients and other visitors when they arrive. Answer patient questions and provide assistance when necessary. Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and check them over to ensure that required fields are completed properly. Work well with co-workers and under supervision of Team Leader Collect co-pays and update insurance information. Field phone calls and respond to emails. Manage inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinate reordering Medical Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a certificate program in the medical field preferred 1+ years of experience working as a receptionist in a high-volume environment. Familiar with medical terminology Excellent organizational and time management skills
