Medical Receptionist with Chinese speaking

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Medical Receptionist with fluency in Chinese to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves providing exceptional front-desk support, managing patient interactions, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional manner Answer and direct phone calls; schedule, confirm, and follow up on patient appointments Verify patient insurance and obtain authorizations for procedures Register new patients and maintain accurate medical records using EMR systems Perform administrative tasks: filing, faxing, scanning, typing letters, etc. Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns or questions Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in accordance with HIPAA Support clinical and administrative staff as needed Requirements Bilingual in Chinese and English required Prior experience as a medical assistant, receptionist, or medical scribe preferred Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., MDLand) is a plus Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures preferred Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Professional, punctual, and reliable Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

Work Location:

In person Experience Proven experience working as a Medical Receptionist or in a healthcare front desk role within a clinical setting is a plus. Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English is required; ability to communicate effectively in both languages is essential. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as MDland. Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT), insurance verification, and Medicare processes. New graduates are welcome

Pay:

$19.00 - $28.00 per hour
